We arrived in Utrecht not feeling so good (the night before was the bicylce booze binge in Leeuwarden). We went to see Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey (from Tulsa). Before we went we found a hostel online for 12 euros/night. We walked around for HOURS but couldn't find it so we bought a map but we couldn't even find the the street name on the map. So, we're walking around griping about how the map is a piece of s*** and we want our money back. We decided to go find an internet cafe and look it up online. It was then that we realized that the map wasn't s***ty but that the hostel was SO far from the centre that it was off the map! We finally get there an hour before the show was supposed to start and the girl tells us they only have one bed left but she could offer one of us a mattress on the floor. I told her I would take it for half price cause I wasn't walking around ANYMORE! We got to the room and we were the only girls and as you can see, it was DISGUSTING. But I guess that's what you get for 12 euros/night...
