Last little update for the 21/3/11: We have made it to Kuala Lumpur with a very uneventful 6700km+ flight. I can't believe how huge Australia really is. It seemed like we were over mainland Australia forever! So much water about in the outback too. Here we are, it's finally happening. Had an uneventful flight from port to syd. It was too early to check in so it was decided that dee needed to jettison some gear. After many funny looks, hopefully not too many germs from the floor, and a quick trip to auspost dee's bag was approx 3kg lighter.
