These bike stations were everywhere in Paris. You pop your credit card in the card machine get a bike card then choose a bike you want - they are all the same - then place your bike card in the slot to release the bike and off you go. When you reach your destination you park the bike in the station activate your card and off you go. Your card is charged for how long you use the bike - cool eh !!!
