We had made plans to visit a water village in Zhou Zhuang, but the 7am start proved to be a major sticky major hurdle and those Cheeky tequila's meant we didn't rise until 10:00am, by which the last boat of the day had set sail. Our new Eee PC's had certainly made an impression with our new friends, and we found ourselves, Holly, Kate, Tom, Steve and I making a trip back to Xu Jia Hui and haggling over two more ASUS laptops . After lunch, wh then made our way to Xu Jia Hui park, eager to try and find a spot to play with our new toy and first joint purchase, a Nike Football.
In the evening, we (Tom, Steve & myself) found ourselves back on the French Concession on the hunt for a barshowing the football, this time it was Tom's team Manchester City. After trying pretty much every place in sight, we gave up and headed into the next decent looking bar. The place was quite full and it seemed to be holding a variety night/show with Singers, Dancers and even a string quartet taking to the stage. After ordering a round of drinks, I turned around and discovered Steve had wasted no time and is talking to 3 English girls. They had just traveled from Beijing and Xi'an and were glad to see people in a party mood. With that in mind, we decided to make our way back to Sasha's.
Immediately as we entered, we got talking to these three absolutely stunning Italian girls, Vanessa, Claudette and Nicole (I now know exactly where I'm starting my Euro trip!) Unfortunately they didn't stay for long, I know what you're thinking but they had an early train to catch in the morning, honest. The night was pretty much a carbon copy of the previous night but did involve a funny incident involving me unsuccessfully trying to tell a local girl that I didn't want to dance with them. We arrived back at hostel around 3:00am thanks to our new taxi driver (We named him Rupert) who put Sean's driving skills to shame. We then spent the next 30mins eating noodles and for some strange reason (possibly alcohol related) trying to grab goldfish out of their tank, before heading to bed.
