Jordan is 80% desert,it's the fourth poorest country in terms of water. The temperature in summer can reach 48C. Our tour bus got delayed on the Israel Jordan border. The Jordan border police xhecled our passports at least 5 times at various stages. I didn't like how the Jordan border police guard took out finger and eye using biometric scanners. We reached Israel in 30 mins from Cyprus. The airport was modern and clean. Long queues at customs. Of course I was the last one to get through. We got back on the bus and now headed for Nazareth. Getting to bed at 3am. The bus to Nazareth took 90 mins. Staying at the Golden Crown Nazareth Hotel. My first impressions were Wow! Looks like a business convention centre. Classy lobby and 5star rooms. I'll post photos. Had a shower, washed a few clothes and up again...

Just landed in Larnaka Airport. 1.5 hours journey. New Airport, clean. On a bus tour now.
