A long day today - climbed ben lomond in the morning then walked the 22km to Inverarnan. didnt finish the climb until about 1pm.
Sadly I had 360 degree views of grey cloud at the summit.
The track followed the loch all the way - some parts of a track (fire trail standard) and some a rough path along the shore line - paid to be alert as lots of tree roots, rocks, etc to trip you up in not paying attention.
had first real rain on the trip - about 15 mins of heavyish stuff. pretty good considering.
Saw a deer not far from rob roys prison. Also had a took a pee stop not far from his hide out further up the lake. Free show provided to those on a boat cruise passing by which I spotted too late. I don't believe they were impressed.
tough finish to the walk which seemed to drag on for ages.
Walking tip #1 - don't climbed a step hill before a 22km walk.
Stayed at a hotel which was built in 1705 - last renovation to interiors approx 1706. Had breakfast surrounded by about 50 stuffed animals.
