What a difference a day, and an 8 hr bus trip makes. Yesterday, a rubbish bed in a mad hostel in a dodgy suburb of Boston to today, a calm, clean quiet hostel in downtown montreal. And a bonus - it has the best mattress I have had at any hostel. Montreal is a very relaxed city esp compared to Boston. After 2 fun months in the UK I have now made it to the US of A. First stop is Boston. The hostel is interesting. Day 1 - drunk guy arrives at just after midnight looking for Rita. He has no luck so decides to throw a metal bin through a window. Day 2 - I realise the bed seems to have many bed bugs. I also see and hear a mouse trying to climb the leg of my bed. the last few days in Uk I spent in cornwall. 3 nights was know where enough and will have to go back at some point especially as it is apparently where the Jacka history starts. Had some great weather, some nice walks, spotted some surfers (very small waves) but very clean water. Didnt make it to Jacka Point (unfortunately it was a bit tricky to get to) but interestingly it is not far from the town of Trewartha. Sadly only my family will understand that sentenc...
