Had a nice chat with Lauren from Greenheart Travel today about my upcoming adventure. Some fun facts about Costa Rica: All of the churches face West. There will be ants, so get use to them. Pedestrians do not have the right-of-way, so watch out :) The shower water is heated by attached electric heaters, do not touch. Black outs are common during the rainy season, bring a headlamp :)

I will be staying with two different host families. The first host family will have other teachers staying there and is located in Barva de Heredia. The other host family is located in Rohrmoser closer to the school that I will be teaching at The Complejo Educativo Royal (The Royal Educational Complex).

Can't believe in one week I will be sitting in orientation in Costa Rica! ;)
