well well well....we are slightly behind with this blog thing but only because of the lack of internet and obviously the cyclone..yes we did manage to choose to be in fiji when they had the worst weather in 10 years..! teehee...

we are in new zealand safe and sound now and excited about our next part of the journey.. yes dad the skydive is soon! hahah (nervous laughter)...

Good to see your messages and texts to mum, so we know you're safe. Sounds like the weather was a bit of a shocker, but next stage should be better. Acording to internet Auckland about 25deg. Spent sunday night with mum and dad and she gave us your website. We leave the UK on the 4th March, not a moment too soon. We fly to Perth then out to Auckland on the 7th arriving on the 8th. We may be in the country at the same time. We are there for a month, then back to Oz.

If you can get to the Coromandel Peninsula on the North Island then it is a must to go to the hot beach at Hahei. Two hours after high tide the beach is so hot you cannot stand on it. You can hire a spade, dig a hole, it will fill with exceptionally hot water and you have yourself a hot spa bath on the beach. It is amazing all to do with volcanos apparently.

Make sure you keep the weather nice for us.
