Prague, the home of 1 euro beers. Something we took full advantage of. But more on that later.
Our first full day in the city was spent on yet another free walking tour. We saw all the sites and even learned a little too. We saw the astronomical clock on the hour (had to be done). But it is true what they say about your response..."is that it" (can't find the question mark on this keyboard)
That night took part in a Pubcrawl. Included in this was a power hour of all you can drink beer plus vodka and absinthe shots. Never have we drank so much in such a short amount of time. But we figured we may as well get our money's worth, just like an all you can eat buffet. Throughout the night we went to various bars and ending in a club. Our way home was a little longer than expected as we got on the night tram going in the wrong direction. But after passing 4 stops Del cleverly figured it out. I was too busy looking at all the shops we were passing and constantly telling Del about them. We think our level of sobriety may have had something to do with this. Needless to say we did eventually make it back into our beds safely.
The following morning we just made it in time for the breakfast special (8am to noon) at Bohiemian Bagels. When there Del is very proud to have invented coffee-sprite. Which according to him "wasn't half bad". After we got our fill of coffee we retraced our steps in search of the Burton store that I was so excited to see the night before. We found it, YAY... Later we walked up the hill to the castle and were treated to some spectacular views of the city.
Today we walked through the park and just enjoyed the views around us.
We have had a good time here and are now looking forward to Bulgaria...
