Well once again i have been far too busy to do my travel blog, i left harvey bay and went to 1770, where i went scooterooing which was prettty good fun messing around on mini harley looking bikes, then the next day i went on a boat trip to Lady Musgrave Island which was really nice did some snorkling and swam with turtels, the next morning i was supposed to catch the bus but woke up late, So had to stay another day, the next bus took me on to a Cattle ranch where we did some horse riding herding up goats was ok accept we where only alound to walk the horses and i kept getting told off for breaking into a trot. In the evening we had a few drinks and did the mechanical bull which i won with 27 bucks, up early the next morning to leave for Airlie.

When i got to airlie i met up with the lads from the fraiser island trip, we had a couple of nights out then on to the whitsundays on the clipper (thats the name of the boat), the whitsundays are amazing, whitehaven beach has the finest sand in the world used for making the Hubble Telescope, you can brush your teeth with it, unfortunatly it's so fine that even under water camera's get broken by it. Well for a couple of days anyway. We had two nights on the boat, the sunsets where also amazing and we did some snorkling which was pretty good but the water was clearer at Lady Musgrave. When we got back the lads went to peter pand to book a skydive and white water rafting, i thought i would go on the internet and check out Magnetic island, I ended up leaving having book a skydive and white water rafting too.

Next stop was Townsville for 2 nights, not allot there a few bars for the evening, quite a nice place though it was also Anzac day on the saturday which means that a lot of soldiers and ex soldiers get up at about 5am and get on the booze for a parade at about 9am then back to all day drinking, we joined them all for a beer at about 12 then went to the museum of tropical queensland, which is mostly about the boat HMS Pandora it was quite interesting but we did make some slight changes to some of the displays!

26.04.09 MISSION BEACH, we have arrived for our extreme couple of days, staying in a really nice hostel called absalute backpackers, early night and up for 7:15 to go skydiving, we got picked up at about 8am none of us that nervous, got there and filled out more forms, i let the lads from Yorkshire go up together as we all wanted a dvd of the skydive and they only had 3 extra guys to dive and film us, so i watched them come down, the plane seemed miles away but it only took about 7 minutes for them to get down to the beach!

My turn, very excited, met my tandom man Damo, he was a laugh, got in the plane and off we went it took us about 15 minutes to get up to 14000ft with the door open and then i was time, I sat on the side of the plane with my feet under the plane and then we where on our way down what a buzz 60 seconds of free falling amazing! One of the Best things i have done!

28.04.09 up early again for extreme day 2, white water rafting on the river Tully (more people die doing this than sky diving). We got there and met ouor guide Vinnie, he said he was going to ruine us, He had a go but the sausage fest as we where known as we where all blokes where too powerful, and we only flipped when we all went one side on purpose. Absalutely brillant day out and would recomend it to anyone, but do the extreme day not the normal one.

i'm now in Cairns and not sure what i'm doing next!
