This morning was a safari drive around the south end of Lake Nakuru where some marshland remains. Over the past four years, the lake has quadrupled in size from all the rain. The ph of the lake has always been alkaline, as were all lakes in the Rift Valley. This made Nakuru a destination for millions of Flamingos, a blanket of pink.
