Im still trying to get photos up on the internet.. but the connections have been sooo slow. So they maybe up after we get back. I think the problem is that Elliott has just taken too many photos. But that is not a bad thing at all. Currently we just got to Rome from SIena, which was beautiful and amazing. We even got to go on a wine tour in the Burnello area... which have Italys best wines. We actually went wine tasting in an old building which was a former trading shop for those traveling along the Roman Road to Rome. The only thing remaining was the Roman well that people could gather fresh water. Mario the owner was an adorable older man who described his wine making process and showed us around. Then we tasted the wines and his wife served us apertifs..

Siena was lovely but the food was not what we consider amazing. Elliott one night by accidently got Tripe which is stomach.. lets just say the past two days with him has been less than romantic... Last night after feeling like I have had too much pasta decided to order steak.. Lesson learned dont do it... lets just say my cow was not really meant for eating.

Our train ride to Rome was interesting. It was funny there was a father and his toddler son in the car with us.. and he was playing slapping games with him. The toddler was laughing but it was funny when he actually did something wrong and the father smacked him and then the toddler smacked him back... His father was not amaused. That would not be allowed in America. It was really hard not saying anything.

After arriving in Rome we walked to our hostel it was only two blocks from the train station which was really nice.. After we dropped off our bags and headed to see the sites. We are just two blocks from the Colosseum. We then headed to the Treve fountain and the Piatza del Polo.. Very fun!

Tomorrow is New Years. Our hostel is offering a Grand Dinner Italian Buffett with all you can eat and drink for 10 euro so were gonna do it.
