Well I am finally back in civilisation after being to two very different places. The first was in the Ecuadorian amazon at a place called Cuyabeno reserve. Here I met two people from Canada to form a group and stayed at a jungle lodge near the Cuyabeno lake. At night we went walking throught the jungle looking for nocturnal insects and spiders and by day we cruised up and down the waterways looking for wildlife. By the way I have not had a beer for two weeks now so I may partake in a few tonight. (sorry that just occured to me). We also visited a local medicine-man who the local jungle people still use to cure all manner of ailments. He told us if we had and sore muscles he could cure them by rubbing stinging nettles over them. Lets just say we did not take him up on the offer. I was in the jungle for four days and then i caught 16 hours worth of buses to eventually end up in Quiatoa which is a village perched on the side of an extinct volcanoe which has filled with water to create a buitiful lagoon.
Again this place is in the middle of nowhere so it has benn hard to keep up with things in the outside world but now I have looked on the internet I notice that Burnley won two more games in my absence. Burnley just do not lose when i am in ecuador last time i was here they won promotion!!!. I am now in a little place called Banos and thank god it is a little bit walmer. I have stopped off here to do some washing as I have no clean clothes left and then I am going to get a move on to Peru. Anyway thats all for now and thanks for reading.
