Hi all In Queenstown now - in the southern part of New Zealand. It's gorgeous, and cold! This afternoon we decided over an afternoon coffee that it would be a good idea to go paragliding. So 15mins later we were running off the side of a mountain strapped to two blokes called Tim and Brendan. It was fantastic, really an amazing experience. Good evening from Rotorua. We're still bloody cold! Have had a brief stay in Rotorua where I've had a lovely mud bath at a geothermal reserve, and this afternoon seen a Maori Haka dance. The whole area smells of rotten eggs due to the sulphur in the air. Other than the cold and the smell, we're fine and having great fun. Love Clare xxx

Kia Ora everyone. We arrived in Auckland yesterday. It's a bit colder than Fiji! It's peed down with rain today and got us totally soaked. It feels very much like being at home, although you've got better weather at the moment. Today we've taken a look at the city from the Sky Tower and visited the museum. It's nice to have shops to look around again and I have to confess to buying a Starbuck's coffee and wandering round Border's bookshop! Lots of love ...

In contrast to Japan which was busy and packed full of sights and activities, the week started like this: Breakfast, sun lounger & book, snorkel, lunch, sun lounger & sleep, book, swim, dinner, beer... Hi all Waiting for the Fiji flight now. I am sorry that the time has gone so fast in Japan. Since last post I have had a spa bath on the top of a skyscraper, visited the A-bomb dome in Hiroshima and stayed til 6am at karaoke! xxx
