Grandma is ok has a disc on the nerve, waiting for major big needle work, winding her up.
Stevo off work with lung infection....! any excuse.....! no he's full of cold as well, weather a lot colder up ere in ull,he's got driving test 9th January but we are trying to get cancellation.
Planning xmas shopping trip soon, dont know why, someone said its coming up to xmas.....!

Leaving the hotel to fetch our motorhome in a while - looking forward to our journey got lots planned! the weather up the West coast is looking hot some places nearing 42 degrees. hot hot hot!

Bad news on the memory card ... no one handed it in not even for a reward!
The hotel have got our details and they are going to check the security camera to see if anything pops up.
so feel a bit depressed at the moment ... trying to forget about it but we cant!
Sat in Cairns airport at the mo it's 9pm - gpt a 6 hr flight thru the night but got 3 seats to ourselves! Mat is asleep on the sofa's at the moment and we are freezing coz the aircon is on!!!
Staying at a cheapy cheapy motel tonight and tomorrow and going to see Mick & Dawn (Mat's Anut aunt & uncle) for a good old aussie barbie tomorrow - really looking forward to it!!
Hope the weather isn't getting you all down too much.
Keep seeing people going on Xmas party do's - feels strange when it is so hot! Perth forecast for ednesday id 39 degrees so think we are gonna bake!!

Hello Peeps,
We have done something very stupid and lost our camera memory card with all of Sydney and Cairns on it! yes we are gutted!
The whole holiday we have been very lucky losing and finding things so it was just a matter of time until we got caught out ... had to be this though :( !!!!!!!!!!
the computer we are on has got a hole to put card in to upload pics and we walked off and left it and no one has handed it in!!! Full card of the last 2 places!
Anyway we are trying to forget it as there is nothing we can do except wait (we have put posters up in hotel with a reward for it's return).
We have got video camera footage but its not the same - we were contemplating extending our holiday and popping back to Sydney but best not!
Anyway, we do know how stupid we are and want to kick ourselves - well have kicked ourselves ... lots!!
On a brighter note we had a fab day on the barrier reef today! Snorkelled 3 reefs, i was a bit scared at first but was ok after a bit, Mat saw a shark ... glad i didn't! Saw lots of colorful and rather large fishes!!! I got stung on the lip by something but it wasn't that bad!!
off to Perth tomorrow night - flying through the night got no where to stay when we get there so that should be fun. Gonna pick up the motorhome the following day then off on our adventures ... again!
we will log on and leave messages when we can.

Yes can get drink at home, but not many places have bitters! Did you have a dip in the gorge, its freezing. When you get to Perth are you going to Rottnest? Did you venture up to the end of beach at Port Douglas, where crocs live? God, memories its depressing. Give Mick and Dawn big hugs and kisses from me.
