Hello- i am hoping all is OK and you are happily reunited with your parents Heli and having a great time. It is raining all the time here which is ironic given the drought bans and so the cats spend even more time lying around getting fat. Wait until we show you the Bagmati Bridge then you'll have some thing to write home about with regard to smells! Ours go for spitting in preference to burping. Rained the last two days so I hope it will be dry for the pick up tomorrow. I am out with a fieldtrip all day tomorrow studying the Bagmati river!! This hotel is less luxurious but we do have a pool!!!

great to hear you're fully into the swing of things now and much of it sounds very familiar. think every tour guide takes you to the red fort and taj, i too went to that jewellery place and felt under extreme pressure to spend.
brilliant country, if a little mad. i think all the photo's and constant attention puts you off ever wanting to become famous. i wonder if its compulsary to drive with no eyes or blindfolded over there too? keep enjoying it girls...you'll love it when the delhi belly kicks in, ha!!

I hope Agra and Taj were good today, we hope to get there sometime. What's this about better access in nepal - you mean you wont have to pay for it I assume!!! Forget the 30C - it has been raining here all day and feeling quite autumnal, such are the vagueries of Kathmandu weather, or maybe it had something to do with picking up summer shorts from the tailors today, and mum a summer dress!

No change in Grandma's condition. Stable but unconscious.
