You would love Hoi An. Personally made clothes and shoes - 'Come in to my shop madam very good price for you lady'. Then go to Ho Chi Min City for all the fake bags to finish off your new outfits.

Not sure what is the best time to go.Temperature was hot but not ridiculously hot. The only place to lie out in the sun would be around your hotel.

Not stalking you...but what did you think of Hoi An? been looking at for a holiday but cant seem to work out the weather in Vietnam and the best time to go! Cx

Wow how things have moved on with STA since my back backing days, blog, photos etc etc! How glam you look don't think I've seen the same t-shirt twice. The photos are fab and you look like you're having a great time..................it's dull, cold and wet back here, what's new. Take care x

Fantastic C. Sounds like you have started off well and found good accommodation in a shoe box and taken long walks to nearby restaurants to sample the local cuisine. Obviously learning the language too. What is Japanese for "Can you take a picture of me please"? Seriously, wish I could join you on your adventures. Your ears will be burning when M and I are on the course tomorrow. x
