Friday sept 27 Waking up in Naples Italy, so beautiful pinched myself again. We were up early for breakfast and headed off the ship by 7:30am. A 9 hour day trip lays ahead of us. Today we see Capri, Sorrento, then Pompeii. Doesn't sound like a lot but it was probably the hardest day I've ever had. It was a lot of walking over some very unstable cobble stone streets. Then there is the heat, oh my the heat. Thank goodness for the cool breezes up top the mountain. ...

Well it's finally here! Departure day,,,,WOOOHOOOO!! Thanks everyone for the well wishes. I am sure we are going to have the time of our life. I will be posting late tomorrow night about our adventures in Rome so check back later for an update. For now, we will finish getting ready and then hit the skies. CIAO!!!

We are a mere 2 weeks away from our dream trip. A 12 day European cruise with a night in Rome and a night in Venice. This has been a long life dream of mine.
