Chris' Trip
After a mammoth 12 hour drive up the Pacific Highway in the van, we finally arrived in Byron Bay last night and crashed in a camper-van site. Byron is surfer's paradise - sun, sea, mile long beaches and enough bleach to whiten England. Keren got her tongue pierced and is now on a diet of soup and mashed potatoes + gravy.
We have lots of driving ahead of us - we figure about 5 hours a day - which we think we are going to do during the night/early morning so we can see the sights and places during the day. Angela has plans for where we should go so I will let ya'll know when we discuss it fully. The van is pretty cool, except every other one has a better paint job than us! There are loads of the vans about from the same company - it seems to be pretty popular.
We will be staying in Byron tonight and heading up tomorrow morning, with or without Martin (the other Canadian). The surfer in the picture is not me.
