Wow Chris, what a journey ...almost rivals some of those taken by the X-Factor contestants!! I have the contract ready for publishing "The Dummies Guide to India" the first of series actually written by a Dummy!! Those funeral pyres will be giving Lindsay ideas for drumming up some new business. Finally is it the royal "we" to whom you keep referring?!? Will look forward to catching up on your next installment. Loads of love, Clare

Hi Chris. Good to see you are in full flow again with Thesaurus next to you. I must admit that in your reporting gap I had visions of you floating down the Ganges with your washing! Enjoy your beer. Roger

Weaving, dodging, swerving, hooting, honking & hot? sure your not dreaming about Lindsay! .. Hope you are sporting the mandatory Michael Palin light blue denim shirt (with sleeves rolled up) and beige slacks. Take care and hang on in threre, soon be back to Sunday Roasts.... Love from P & J in dirty, dusty and dry Market Harborough xxxx

Hi Chris, Boy oh boy you are really in amongst it aren't you. Roaches and rats eh! There was me thinking that India would unveil slightly larger game - notably tigers and elephants (although I am sure you wouldn't want one of those in your wardrobe!!) Great blogs btw.

What's going on? That's a hell of a long way to go for a call centre job interview; we thought you were skiing! Years of practice with the Indian accent should now pay off; however we recommend you drop the Welsh slant. Seriously though, good on you and keep one eye open in your sleep and your hand always clutching your wallet! Looking forward to further postings and even some pics if you can work out how to upload. Goodness gracious me! Your second blog only cements my reluctance to accompany you! Although I may be at work, at least I can drive a reasonably clean BMW without the fear of a hamster scurrying under the seats, open my wardrobe without a cockroach jumping out and only see the poor and huddled masses of Market Harborough! Enjoy the rest of it - only another 26 days to go! L xx

Hi Chris - Looks like this message board is going to be the highlight of your trip! Great first blog - do you remember Alan Whicker - keep it up - I can see you have great family support.
I can only guess what you are up to now - thrashing your clothes on rocks at the side of the Ganges? (while I am filling in my tax return!). At least you are not in Bangkok!
Looking forward to photos but no presssure as I am sure you will master the technology.
