Steinlager is the main lager brand in NZ. Steinlager Pure is the one that is advertised and having no other ingredients other than malt, hobs and pure NZ spring water. That all fine but I'd be a bit worried if there was anything else in there! However its pretty nice after all this real ale grogging me down. Upedate: I have just learned that apparently the origional type (ie just Steinlager without the pure bit) give you a b****** hangover - so presumably they are just responding to bad publicity.
