when the tide went out a sandbar appeared between the beach and the reef, so we waded out one day. as we got closer it looked like the gorund was moving when, in fact, there were hundreds of these wee guys scurrying about the place. but as we approached they started burying themselves in the sand so we snapped what we could before they disappeared!
