Welcome to Goa! On your left you will find palm trees, beaches and smiling locals. On your right keep a keen eye for locals on scooters, cows, dogs, goats and elephants roaming around!Wow what a difference! This place is simply amazing. We arrived in Mumbai today, a little apprehensive but very excited to be in India. We had been warned by several people that Mumbai was a bit of a hole, but nothing quite prepared us for what we found. When we left the airport (which was very nice and contolled by dodgy looking men with hand guns and Ak's) we emerged into the incredible heat which is India and immediatly got set upon by an over enthusiastic mob of cab drivers. Second entry and we are sat in the airport proping up the bar! Always a good start to an adventure! We have managed to book ourselves a 3* Hotel in mumbai for when we arrive tomorrow morning, flight leaves here tonight at 9:45 so we still have a few hours to burn in the hotel! First Blog post and only 8 days to go! Not much to say here really, just to make sure the map marker goes in place for Jersey! All our tickets are booked and ready, visa's were nice and easy! Thursday the 15th we head off the rock to london for a nice short 12 hours before we leave for India! Getting rather excited now and I have been told I have to get my arse in gear, seeing as I haven't bought anything for the trip yet and such! Stay tuned for updates!
