A short 15 minute boat journey from Koh Rong Samloem, and we were on the Big Brother 'party' Island of Koh Rong. We would spend the next five nights here, including NYE. A very choppy hour long boat journey, resulted in not being able to be dropped off at the pier near where we were staying. Because of this we had a very long walk along a beach, through a jungle, across a rickety bridge, and through a fishing village, right to the end of the bay, all in the pitch black, and of course with our rucksacks! We jumped on a boat making a day trip around some of the small islands, including Koh Ta Kiev - where we were headed. The good thing was that they made a quick half an hour stop at a snorkelling sight for everyone to have a swim. After a whole day travelling, we finally made it to Sihanoukville, Cambodia's main beach resort.
