Black grapes, red grapes, green grapes, my opinion....I like them all. Can´t go wrong with some nice juicy ones...... I prefer to keep mine chilled otherwise they go a bit sweaty and sweaty grapes arn´t pleasant as i´m sure you´ll agree.
Hope you like the close ups of the fruit on the pics page, just for you guys. I especially like the finger bananas..... and cracked up when i heard that´s what they were called.....
love you

Yet more great pics. I'd love to try some Fanny Fish!! I'm off travelling myself for the next 5 days. To Birmingham to watch England play cricket. I bet you're green with envy!! We're all waiting expectantly for your next update. Don't let the bugs bite you. Si x.

Morning lovey! Another day in the office and another fruit education... I have black and red grapes today, and Lucy, Julie and I were surprised as we never realised you could get black and red grapes - just green and red we thought. Although thinking about it I do recall someone I used to know having a bunch of each colour in their fruit bowl once - but they were of the plastic variety just for show...
We just wondered what your thoughts were on the matter - have you tried both kinds? The black grape is a lot crunchier whereas the red grape is very sweet.
We look forward to your contribution to this on going and ever-interesting discussion.

Hi Amy,
Sorry not been in touch for a while - I moved house on Friday so it's all been a bit hectic. Loving the new house & everything went well. Your journal entries are fantastic, it sounds like you are having an amazing time. Did you have any fruit on the meals that were made for you??!! I would have also laughed about the tree incident (sorry!) - I hope it didn't hurt too much! Mmmnnn, I bet your trainers are looking nice - I hope you're not planning on keeping hold of them to wear to aerobiking when you come back! (ha ha). Keep the updates coming - they are brilliant. I'm so pleased that you are having an amazing time. The pics are wonderful too. LOL Ju p.s Lucy is still having salad/fruit for lunch... she's still on her trial period though! xxx

Those pics - talk about have your head in the clouds in the literal sense of the word!! Only you could drop a phone down the toilet. I can send you one Sam and Olly are always changing phones and we have spare SIM cards and phones here, so if you want to - let me know and I will get it couriered to you. I really cannot tell you what a thrill it is to see you up Piccachu (sorry that's a Pokemon and slightly wrong in all kinds of ways) I mean Macapichu - you look in your element - even the sweat becomes you. You look so happy and I am so proud of you.xxx We all love you. By the way, we looked the snake up and it appears to be a Coral snake, they don't like to bite - but they are deadly, just thought you should know that in case you see another one and decide to take a closer look.xxxx Call me when you can Sherpa Amy. xx

Hi - Well it seems after your tricky start everything is back on track. Some incredible photos and I expect the actual experience adds to that ten fold. Hope you are having as much fun as it sounds. I'm off to China on Friday (26th) so have something to look forward to, not sure how I'll fill the other 5 months though. Have fun, be good and enjoy every experience. I'm sure you will be able to pee through the hole of a polo mint, 2ft away, by the time you come back to the U.K. xxxx

Hola Amy!
The pictures are amazing and i've set one up as my screen saver - so that i can tell everyone who asks what you are doing and how fantastic you are!
Nightmare on the phone front - and apart from trying to dry it out I really don't know what else to suggest. I will do some asking around though.
And yes - i would have peed myself if I'd seen the tree incident - but then again I am a true friend (plus you'd have done the same to me....). The journal and pictures are fantastic - it doesn't feel as if you're so far away, so keep adding to them. Love you.

Hi there Amy J! Loving the website and all the amazing photo's - looks and sounds like you're having a wonderful time!
Nothing of any real excitment or good gossip this end - actually what we keep talking about is your website and what the latest message says! When I looked round the office this morning I noticed that the usual small add pages, I mean, work documents, people usually have up on their screens had been replaced with your journal!
So please keep all the updates coming, i chuckled most about the trainer incident, the head meets tree (I can see it now), but also about the phone down the loo episode, which I felt guilty for afterwards... sorry :-) x I'm afraid I can't offer any advice on that one, only that I put my phone through the washing machine once and after hairdrying and airing cupboard support it came back to life - so don't write it off completely.
Take care - woo yeah! xxx

Hi Amy, your photos and journal brightened my dull rainy morning. Sadly I think I may have been one of the ones the sherpas had to carry lol. More training in the welsh hills needed!!. The man in the land of sand is Ok but has had a couple of close ones! No news of Jono yet. Carry on having fun Sx

Hi, my friend is in Peru at the moment, Sam. (My friend that has been sending the email updates). Here is her email address, [email protected].
Im sure she will know what to do about mobiles, also you may be close enough to meet up. Sounds like youre having a fab time, keep it up. I just spend 4 days in Rome with Bobby. I laughed for 4 days and I believe my face has improved (slightly) because of it. Bobby says hes the reason for this and is sending me an invoice.
Amy
Hello you lot, I really need your help. Last night I dropped my mobile in the lav (dont ask) and its proper knackered me thinks. does anyone have any suggestions on what would be best in terms of getting a new phone? I dont want to spend a lot but I do want to be contactable over the next 5.5months. Also, I dont want to buy one that will only work in certain continents?
