Wow. What a journey so far..... As we said some very emotional goodbyes we walked through the gate with huge excitement yet bundles of nerves. After a quick and easy first flight we arrived in Muscat ... Which I thought was Moscow... Stupid me.. There we hung around for a few hours in which we were told our flight had been cancelled due to technical problems on the plane... It was chaos. Locals barging through to get seen to first as we were told we could have a free transfer to Dubai then on to Bangkok from there or we could wait 24 hours for a replacement flight. We took the plunge and waited around for us to be checked in to Dubai's flight . After hours of waiting we were on our way to Dubai .. A short 45 minute flight got us there quickly.. Little did we know when we got to Dubai yet again it was chaos. No one knew what was going on, there was over 50 angry passengers waiting around very tired and anxious.... Emarites staff everywhere. Finally we checked in to our Bangkok flight . Not too much time to spare just enough for a quick drink and FaceTime to home.. Another 6 hour flight brought us to a humid Bangkok.,12.30 am...,long queues at passport control.. Then to top our long day of travelling off my bag didn't arrive along with 20 other passengers.,brilliant .... Luckily Soph got hers so at least we had something... 5 hours sleep in our little hostel room with the funniest balcony with toilet and shower and we finally got to bed.... What a start.. Let's hope I get my bag today and have a good first day exploring Bangkok.. Wish me luck xxxxxx
