Went on a short nature walk this morning before breakfast.The guide showed us termites - yuck, and lots of the trees and plants uses.It was a nice walk.This was a great safari with wonderful staff and guests.Going to be hard to beat.But now it's over and it's on to Victoria Falls - my main destination.It's about 7 hours back into Jo'Burg and I'm staying at the same hotel near the airport.They have internet so I can finally update my site!

Today we're joined by a couple from England.It's a "free day" but we've all chosen to go to Moholoholo (Hope I have enough O's in that spelling).It's a rehabilitation center for injured animals as well as an educational tour.Our driver was late picking us up and so he took us on a wild speed ride to get us there on time.He didn't….we were still about 10 minutes late for the tour and we all got scared s***less!The tour was ok.A lot of vultures, som...

I've been going constantly here, but not rushed. Its been great! The lodge is a lot like the jungle lodge in Peru. I have my own hut and each days activities depend on the day I arrived. I have been with a swiss couple the whole time. They are very nice! I've seen nearly every animal except the leopard on the game drives. Today we went on a panoramic tour. Today is Panorama day!Just me, Fabienne and Massimo again.We start at Blyde River Canyon.It's pretty cloudy today but the Canyon is still impressive.We see the three Rondavels, huge cylinders of rock with pointed roofs.Lots of tourist shopping in the area but I have to refrain (pretty much) cuz I still have way too much traveling.After this we head to Bourke's Luck Potholes.Very cool looking holes carved in the rock by whirlpools from 2 rivers merging.There are s...

The rooms in the lodge are great.They're individual huts and really comfortable.I got great nights sleep and woke up feeling human again.The first 4 days of my trip were quite hectic and rushed and I finally feel relaxed and settled.It's an early day today - 4:45 wake up for a full day in Kruger National Game Reserve.There's only 3 of us on this trip.Me and a really nice young couple from Switzerland, Massimo and Fabienne.It's about an hours drive to the park ent...
