Today started mega early once again and we headed straight out to the state park to do some cliff diving around the lake here. This morning I decided to climb the massive rock formation that was next to our campsite. I got up and down just in time to have a few photos taken and jump on the bus! Today we finally left the Grand Canyon, but on our way to Monument Valley we stopped for one last look before we left for good. We had lunch on route and arrived at our campsite at 3pm. Today was a free day to explore the Grand Canyon in whatever way you wanted. We had the option of doing a helicopter flight but I turned it down because its very expensive and I've been told if you want to see the canyon at its best get in it. So that's exactly what we did. Today I was sad to be leaving the city of excess! I really enjoyed its crazy 'we can do anything' attitude. The day went super quick as we didn't leave Vegas until late and the van journey went quick. We arrived at our campground in the Grand Canyon around 4pm and went about setting up our tents.
