Hi Cha/Lee - Hope the whole campervan experience is still uplifiting for both of you , I think it must be great to have a mobile home especially in the wonderful surroundings you're in! (I wish I lived in one at the moment especially when it comes to packing to move, we could just then start the engine and move-it along to our new location easy as!!!!!!)
Cha - "you are the only person in the whole world who can make me laugh and cry at the same time, it's a fact. I've been packing and just discovered a school project you wrote called " ME MYSELF & I"- ring any bells? you describe your 1st day in this world there are photos too - u look so cute - (Raventhorpe uniform)U say on day 1 you can see & hear all the people staring down at you in your crib saying u look like your mum, then still at age 10yrs u say everyone says you're still like your mum, u say your best hobby is spending money first, then netball(some things are life long ha!ha!.) U luv your dog, fish pony, and DUCK!! That's a brief summary."
**** I luv U**** miss u lots. Have e-mailed u the new address. Contact numbers to follow so if there's any chance at all we can hear from u in Bournemouth that'll make my Xmas. If u have access to a phone I could ring u!. I want to bank your Xmas money so please just let me know account remains the same that I have for you?

G'day you two, finally plucked up enough courage to enter an internet cafe! We are in Port Douglas but fly to Melbourne tomorrow 18th, don't know what time we arrive but we are staying in the Alto Hotel on Burke. I will pick up your mobile number and give you a ring or Mick's mobile is working here and his number is 07837 293968. We are only there for 2 days but if you are nearby I hope we can meet up for a couple of "cold ones"
Kay and David if you read this, as I know you will, have a lovely christmas and new year and will see you when we get back. We are having a brill time, the weather is of course very hot, but we are coping. Nicola and Charl met us at Brisbane airport as a surprise, I blubbed a lot!!! Love to you all and if you speak to our Di and Pete say merry xmas to them too.
Nicola & Charlotte
G'day!
Sounds like you're having a great time already and driving is definitely the way to go here in Oz. Sounds a bit like a pimp-machine you've picked up though...not like us in our boring gold Nissan!!
We've decided to stay in Australia until 3 February and we'll either be in Sydney or Melbourne from now until then so drop us an email and let us know where you are then we can try and meet up for a few VB's.
And Merry Xmas!
Lots of love
Nicola and Charlotte

Hello everybody, just thought i'd put a little message up for ya'll as it is a bit of a special occasion when i'm allowed to pilot the keyboard!! As you know we bought the van and she's a ripper! Did a bit of general maintainance as people know i can't leave things alone, just stuff like fixing windows that fell down and had to change the brake pads after just 400km but it's one of those things. I think it needs some spark plugs as well cos she's a bit hesitent from cold. We've been down the great ocean road and stopped two nights a campsite in skeenes creek where we managed to blag a free night! After that it was on to a place called Warnambool (where the brakes gave up) with picnic stops in between. The next day we doubled back and headed toward melbourne again. We stopped on the way for a six pack and something for tea and bought a book of free campsites in O.Z, so on we went to the nearest which was by a lake with about 4 other campers there, it was proper nice and quiet and we had wild pelecons 20ft away at the edge of the lake. We got back to Melbourne on the 9th dec and have cooked on our camping stove every night and had some lovley teas i.e veg stir fries, chicken and rice, beef and mash in honey mustard and the obligatory pasta n sauce. It's been cheaper than eatin maccy d's or anything like that. Whent to the zooooooooo on the 10th where it was 41 degrees C!!!!! We where sweating stood still. The animals were cool but not doing much cos it was too hot but me and Charlie got to feed and stroke the elephants it was cool. She was a 14 yr old asian elephant.
So as Charlie said we are moving north to go and do some work, should be quite an experience as we've just had to look up and find out what a zuchini is!!
Chow for now, it might be a while for another message cos we'll be in't sticks.
Love to everyone.
Charlie
