Hi Cha Cha,
How are you? fantastic blogs (is that what they are called... how modern & trendy am I?) but I have just logged on and expected to see some more - so get your finger out...
Going out for dinner tonight & Fleury Fleur is babysitting. We will call you later tonight & hopefully Fleur can talk to you & Frankie.
I've virtually finished the house, just the turfing & blinds to go up. Your idea of the kitchen / breakfast room has worked & I have bought an extremely tacky & cheap table & chairs from the local pound shop (well £100 shop actually) which demonstrates the space you identified.
Steve & I have had an offer accepted on a house to refurb in Old Coulsdon so hopefully I can sell one & roll on to the next....
Keep out of trouble, try & stay sober, spend a bit of money & have fun.
Love from the younger parental xxx

Hi Chas
I found a website with a video cooking lesson, hope it helps.
Were back from Spain, where we managed 24 C not quite up to your weather we are now enjoying anything between -1 to 11C
Have you remembered the special fried rice I showed you?
Fry onions, add garlic and when soft add 2oz rice per person and fry gently for 2 mins. If you can spare a glass of white wine add & boil up. Dissolve veg or chicken cube to a pint of hot water and add to mixture cover with lid and leave, turn heat right down to slow, simmer until all moisture has been dissolved -then eat. You can add other flavours such as chilli, cumin etc. I will send you the chilli & honey chicken dish on another blog message.
Lots and lots of love from
G & G

Hi Chaz, great blogs as usual!
Here's a couple of veggie dishes you might like to try.
Veggie [or add meat mince if you like] Chilli.
Chop a med. potato
chop lge. carrot, onion, slice red or green pepper, chop 2 celery stalks. crush lge. garlic clove.
Fry all gently till going soft. Add chilli powder to taste, [about 2teaspoons at first] & pinch of curry powder if you have it. If you want to add meat or veggie mince add it now, & keep frying. Add abit of salt & pepper.
Add tinned toms & chilli beans, with their water, don't drain.
Cover & simmer till cooked through & thick, about 1/2hr.
Best left overnight & will stand in fridge for 2/3 days.
Eat with rice.
Spanish Omelet.
In 3tablespoons olive oil add
chopped small, potato & onion & crushed garlic [2 cloves, not the whole thing]& red peppers if using. Cook 8/10 mins.
Beat 4 eggs in bowl add salt & pepper. Tip into frying pan over veg.& cook about 5 mins.Wiggle with wooden spoon to stop the bottom sticking.
To cook the top of the omelet, put pan under moderate grill till set.
It should slide out onto a lge. plate. Mine rarely does!
This can be eaten hot or taken to the beach, cut in wedges, with some french bread.
Hope these can be of some use!
Much love, Nanny. x
Celia

Hi Cha Cha, just caught up on a weeks worth of your e-mails or blogs or whatever they are called. I'm very impressed with your organisation, planning & cooking, mum must have trained you well...... Keep plugging away with those job applications & work wil keep coming in just like it did in England.
Glad you enjoyed the twenty20, something I have never done.... You'll be pleased to know I've got Zak & me cup final tickets and Nigel & Keith have sorted a champagne breakfast at the pub and then a luxury coach to Wembley, life's so hard......
I've nearly finished at the house so that should be on the market soon and then onto the next project. I presume you have got my e-mail address as I had to enter it above. Can you copy me messages that you send mum? I can't get into her e-mail or this soppy blog site without her opening it up but I know how to work my computer.
Don't forget that all those antipodeans are wanna be poms!!!!!!
Love ya Dad xxxx

Lucky you! I love cricket & what I wouldn't give to go to the Melbourne ground. In fact I envy you Australia.
There was a programme on tele the other night showing the gardens of Melbourne - it seems a swish place with lovely houses. I liked the idea of trams.
