Hi Charlotte, Wonderful to get your latest blog - only thing to say it was BRILLIANT! Can visualise your experiences - hopefully your time in NZ will be great, especially the food, which hopefully will be lovely large platters of lamb, steak etc! We are all missing you and Chris more than ever, keep safe, and all our love to you both from all the Brooks family. xxxxx

Just read your latest missive Charlotte. From the comfort (!) of my desk it sounds wonderfully exciting. Even the road trip through the non-existent mud roads sounds a tremendous adventure although I'm sure at the time it must have been very scary at times. I should think your real culture shock is to come once you hit the 'civilised' world again. Really makes you think about why we really need the latest DVD players etc. etc. Still, we'll leave the political stuff till you come back - that's if you can ever force yourself back in this direction. Keep well. lots of love and thanks for posting your stories - Lyn xx

Hi Charlotte - I've not forgotten about you. Just that all your blogs leave me speechless (normally unheard of!). You write so well I feel that I am there - luckily for you I'm still padlocked to the desk. I hope you get to see the orang-utans, we saw them in Bohorok in Sumatra about 100 years ago (or it seems like that). Still haven't forgotten how wonderful it was to see them crashing through the trees. Wouldn't bother coming back. Gloom, doom and political mayhem as usual. Stay in your parallel universe - and keep writing. Love to all - Lyn xxx

Hi Charlotte, Just read your wonderful latest blog, the descriptions bring everything to life. Keep them coming! Hope your adventures in the jungle in Borneo are just as good, and that you see some wonderful wildlife. Just left for me to say have a very, very happy birthday on the 9th, we will be thinking of you. Take care all of you, and Alan and I send all our love to you and Chris, Fred and Lucy. xxxx

Hi Charlotte. I've really enjoyed following your exploits via your fantastic photos and super posts. Your writing about these places is wonderfully evocative, and I'm glad to hear that you're all having such a terrific time. I do wish that you'd managed to capture Chris falling off the trapeze-swing-thing, though... Please give my best to the Bean & let him know that we're all well & thinking of him (occasionally). I'm looking forward to the next blog already, so keep them coming! All the best, Stephen.

Darling Charlie,
Everyone is well here - Da, Jonathan and family and the p**** cats (although Lilly is recovering from having two teeth extracted so I hope she will put on some weight soon). I have just read your latest blog and looked at the photos, I really think they are wonderful; Myanmar/Burma looks very beautiful and you have captured the 'feel' of the different places you have visited so well -well done! I think you have lost a little weight though - dodgy tummy attacks - so go carefully! Winter is turning into spring here and all the daffodils are out and the trees are just about to burst into leaf - very pretty! Loads of love, and keep safe, love to all Mum XXX

Hi Charlie, I've fianally managed to find 5 mins to take a look at what you've been up to. Haven't read the blog yet but the photos look amazing - you really have an eye for capturing the stunning scenary, they will make some great pictures for the house when you get back (not that you'll be even thinking of that yet!) Libby is sleeping through the night now so Jon and I are starting to feel human again. This parenting lark is hard work but we love every minute! Take care. Lynne xxx

Hi Charlotte and Chris, once again Charlotte, your descriptions are wonderful. Can't believe Chris went to a man on the street to have his ears de-waxed!! I think I need the treatment too!! Thanks for all the interesting news of the places you have visited. Take care when you are travelling around in this part of the world. We look forward to more photos and a continuing account of your travels. With lots and lots of love to you both. Penny and Alan xxxxxxxxx

Hi Charlie, well it all sounds totally amazing. The descriptions and photos are making me very reminicent while sitting here infront of the computer in my classroom with hundreds if screaming kids outside! Though don't envy the bus travels you've mentioned, don't think I'd even fit into one of those berths now that I'm the size of one of the gigantic cows you've kindly posted on the site! All's going well here, I'll let you know when Lydia arrives. You take care and stay safe. Love Ebru xx
