hey everyone. san fransisco flew by, like the rest of the trip. here's a brief summary of our adventures there. our hostel was situated in a predominantly mexican area of the city, which was divided into neighbourhoods. we visited union square and chinatown on our first day, both very different. also we saw pier 39, alcatraz (very interesting with audio tour), japantown, goldengate park, castro, haight ashbury, all of these being main tourist attractions. san fransisco was great for the cultural diversity within the one city. we also visited the more bohemian district of north beach, where the beat generation began, also sparking the hippy movement. we fit in quite a lot of culture in this city and met some cool people in the hostel we stayed at (and random people on the street). we did a fair bit of walking here too. san fran was friendly and had a lot of history, would definately visit again. sorry about the essay. speak soon xxx
