This is the view from the ferry I was on. The buildings you are looking at are in the "Bund" (pronounced boond) area, also known as the financial area or "Shanghai wall street" it's is the "new Shanghai" all built within the last 40 years. Very popular for tourists. Expensive for the Chinese people.
