Hello! How are you all? Good we hope. Well we're nearing the end of our 8 days in Fiji. It's been really good, we have loved it here. The weather (apart from one day) has been fantastic. It's really hot here which makes a nice change from the freezing conditions we had in New Zealand!!!! The hostel we are staying in is really nice and the people here are fantastic, so friendly. We have been out to one of the islands (Mala Mala) which is an uninhabited island. It was just like a desert island! We got a boat there which was possibly the funniest experience of our whole trip! The crew played Fijian music and the one guy (bless him) could not sing at all. And just wailed along to the music! We could not stop laughing. Then they sung some songs we all know, but he made the words up. For instance the words to "In the Jungle" became...'In the village the peaceful village my lover sleeps peaceful' It was most amusing. On the way back they sung songs for the different nationalities on the boat, Englands was "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" and the American one was "She'll be Coming 'Round the Mountain"!!! It was a really good day, and great to see the islands. We have had a few problems with people in our dorms, mainly them being really selfish and keeping us up all night. They have left now which is good. This is our last full day in Fiji, we fly to L.A on Tuesday but not until 10pm which is a bit annoying as we have all day to wait! Looking forward to USA now should be good. Only 5 weeks until we're home. It's shocking how quickly the time has gone for us! Anyway that's enough from us.
