We are finally home after 3 months on the road. To recap: We departed one month late due to the trees at Ft. DeSoto Park. After the MH was repaired at Alliance Coach in Wildwood, we finally got out of Florida. We did not get out of the heat, though, as it was hot everywhere we traveled. Previous blogs have given you details of where we have been, what we saw and other travel stories and pictures.
We were in South Florida, as scheduled, for the birth of Reid Challenger Barron on August 2nd and as most of you already know he was born with a heart defect so we extended our stay to be there for Leigh and Andy. His surgery on September 2nd was a success and he came home on September 8th. We left Easterlin Park, our home in the swamp for 6 weeks, and drove home to St. Pete......with, I might add, NO DAMAGE TO THE COACH!
Thus ends the Maiden Voyage or Chapter One of Challengers Travels! Stay tuned for Chapter 2.
