I was so happy to see your photos. Amazing. Your sense of framing and detail is well...professional. Look out National Geographic. The calla lily is beautiful as are all the floral shots. Over all they tell a great story-especially with Camelo (sp). I don't think I'm privy to they story of how he started traveling with you. Do tell.
Prayers are going up that you will land a job this week. It IS nice that you've the time to explore as well. Are the people you speak of new travelers you've met? mmmm free salsa!
Love always, Nana
PS We'll keep working on the release of your package. Let me know if you have luck.

Wow, your pictures are amazing. Sounds like you have a great group of people to hang with. Tell us about where you are staying and the scenery around. I hope you find some natives soon that you can understand. Take care and I hope you get the job.

Hi Jazmine,
We're all looking forward to a update on Fiji and New Zealand. Fill us in on the long flight too. Well, tonight is Jeff's last night in Texas. The house is empty thus he's on the floor in his sleeping bag. He should be arriving in NH by mid week, just in time for the autumn colors. Oh how I've missed that! However when I sign off I will dig through a box for something flannel to wear to bed. It's getting nippy. Brrrr.
Oh and I'll send out a little package the first of the week. Still have to shop for a couple more things.
Love you hon,
Nana
PS Were you able to get you personal pan pizza? Oh that sounds good.
Grandma Sandy
Oh Jazmine, you are so brave it scares me. I would have never stayed behind in the jungle, machete or not. In fact I would have been up the tree firs not last. Jaguars, pecaries and any fauna, to me, is best viewed from inside a vehicle or something larger.
Keep up the great experiences. you'll have so much to tell when you come home.
Love,
Grandma Sandy

Oh Jazmine, My heart was beating out of my chest when I read your last blog. How terrifying! I can see you up a tall tree, machete in hand waiting to be rescued. I then laughed right out loud when I read the end of your tale.
Remind me to tell you about how the bear and how I wet my pants while hiking alone in bear country. I still haven't forgiven Jeff...oh good grief, I can't believe I just told the world about that one.

Hi Jaz!
Thanks for the postcard. The little children are precious! Jeff and I both enjoyed the sentiment too. How is the foot? Healing I hope. Now Jeff has all kinds of ideas there...but you're there and he's in TX. Not much help...
Labor Day was quite warm. Something tells me you were warmer though. So, how does it feel not to start back to school. Yesterday all of Spring Lake and Grand Haven went back I understand.
More later hon. Love you! Nana

Hey girl,
Thank you for the postcard. It means a lot to me and Tom. Taz and Zoe are great and so is the pond. Ihave enjoyed it sooo much this summer. Got a great picture of a tod on my liypad fountain. Saw you dad Tuesday and he says you are the "Godmother of Orchids", quite an accomplishment in so little time. I hope to see pictures soon, I know this place must be so gorgeous that the picturs can't do it justice. Take care I think of you every day, you and your roaches.
Love,
Grandma

Wow....those are very "jungley" experiences. What a contrast to my 2am cab ride down the crowded city streets...and a lot of light pollution. We do have giant roaches though.
It sounds absolutely amazing. I'm so happy you get to have such an experience. It'll be one of those things you always carry with you. Hopefully you can shake that fungus though.
Hope you get to post again soon...and with photos!!
