September 2013 I moved to Edinburgh to study Psychology at Edinburgh Napier University. I have always been interestedin psychology, so that is one of the reasons I chose this course. I chose Edinburgh because I had never beenthere, and I had heard a lot of good things about the city. I lived in a very nice student hall approximately 20 minutes from the main street Princes Street.
Edinburgh is a beautiful city, and there is so much to see. Two of my favourites is the Edinburgh castle and the Princes Street gardens. Princes Street was really good for shopping, with shops like the Body Shop, H&M and Top Shop. The museum on Princes Street is wonderful, and they always have amazing exhibitions. And the FOOD! So many good restaurants. One of them called Illegal Jack's, where the had the best Mexican food in town. I did try Haggis, but I didn't like it. I went to the Whiskey Experience, which was really interesting. I learned a lot about how the whiskey is made, and its history.
I loved Edinburgh, I really did. But the University was not for me. There are several reasons for this, which I will not mention. I lived in Edinburgh for a year, and I learned a lot in that year. I grew as a person, which is the most important thing. Edinburgh Napier University was not for me, but I don't regret going there. So August 2014 I packed my bags, and headed down to Liverpool to continue my adventure there.
