This sculpture stood between the Twin Towers and was only maginaly damaged in the 9/11 terrorist attack. It's nou placed in the park by the ferry to show that New York is rebuilding itself and that they wont forget. There is an eternal flame in front of it that was lit exactly a year after 9/11
