Off to discover Madrid Day 2 Friday 29. We walked towards Puerto del Sol, the small streets in the old part of town are interesting, full of bars and restaurants, we are really staying in the middle of the food centre. Arrived in Madrid & staying in an apartment near Anton Martin metro station. Went out last night to discover the local area and wandered up Calle de Atocha from the Atocha Station to Plaza Mayor. This is an amazing square with building surrounding it. Lots of shops and restaurants surround the square with entertainers.
