Spruce Tree House at Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado. The ruins are from the Anasazi people (or Ancient Puebloans) who had a thriving culture in the South West for about 1000 years. The reason for the disappearance of their culture is hotly debated, but pretty much drought and overpopulation seem to be to blame.
