I made it to Koh Tao! there is a beach which is very nice, and im hoping for a nice sunset too, but shall wait and see. Hellloooo, Once again i am waiting for some transport, this time its the train down to Bangkok which leaves at 9pm.. so i have a while to go. Now i've checked out of the room i havent got much to do and so i posted some postcards, and im updating the blog properly for once. At 15B an hour i might as well. Yesterday i was all set to go to Pak Chong early today. Then at about 11pm i decided Chiang Mai was cheaper and am going there by bus tonight... for 500B which is cheaper than the train. This plan gave me more time to look around Ayutthaya and see some more temples and take photos. However i did kind of overestimate how long that might take and since 11am have been pretty bored. Today i did my thai cooking course. Learnt to make Phad Thai, green curry and ginger stir-fry. All were very nice, and i have the recipes, just a matter of getting the ingredients when i return. Tomorrow i have booked to go on a tour which includes elephant riding, waterfall swimming, bamboo rafting, death railway ride, and some kind of cave. so that'll be my last full night here and then i'll head over to Ayutthaya for some temples. Well I've escaped bangkok via train, had to get up at 5.30am this morning to get a taxi to station which took me to the wrong station, then a rip-off tuk tuk to get me to the right one in time... SO i'm now relaxing in Kanchanaburi, which is lovely, the guesthouse is very pretty and theres trees and grass and nice wooden benches, ill put the photo up after ive written the blog (i finally have hi-speed internet!). I can feel my lungs recovering with this cleaner ...
