Our first day was short but it consisted of us eating at a place called the cheesecake factory which was one of the best meals we have had! It has been soo hot here, even the Americans have been complaing.

On our second day we went out exploring all the touristy parts of the city like Lombard street, China town and Fishermans wharf- where we had the best crab sandwiches! The next day we did some more exploring and went to see the painted ladies which are really pretty victorian houses and then we spent the afternoon at a place called Crissy fields which is a beach that is right beneath the Golden Gate bridge which had great views as it was such a clear day.

On our third day we explored the less touristy parts at a place called Mission district which is a really cool part of the city where we sat in a park and people watched with an ice cream.

On Monday we went off on our camping trip. Our first stop was to Lake Tahoe which was incredible. We didnt get much time here but we did manage to sit on the beach with a beer and watch the sun set! The camping part wasnt too incredible and the thought of bears being so close left us with only a few hours sleep. The next day we went to Yosemite national park, which is both one, if not, our favourite place we have been. We even saw a bear as we were driving in the woods! We had a really good tour group and we spent that night around the fire having a few drinks.

We came back to San Fran for a few more days. The first day we went to Alcatraz which Ryan had been excited about for weeks! It lived up to expectations and we had a really great day. Today has been our last day and we went to Muir woods (Red woods), where all the largest and oldest trees in the world live and then we went to a little town called Sausalito and had some lunch.

This has been such a fun city and we have done so much, we hope to return to San Fran in the future!

We are off to Vegas tomorrow for some well deserved luxury!
