Away I go! I was lucky enough to snag a solo seat on the train (the travel gods are smiling down at me). I just decided this would be what I do my blog with so that I can have something fairly tangible to look back on my travels at, especially since there will be no one else to compare notes with later.

First things first, I left on mothers day. It actually seems quiet fitting because this whole trip has only been made possible because of my amazing mother.

This past month has been a tough one and although this trip was originally planned as an urgent need to escape many things back home it has since turned into an amazing opportunity to see the world. Its a real risk going out on my own like this and completely out of character for me but I think I'm ready and I think it's going to be really good for me.
