Hi all. We are now in Soifok on the Lake Balaton (still in Hungary). Still havent managed to download any pics but we have loads now to show you as soon as we get the chance. I have also added a pic of Newcastle on this journal as there is none relevant, apart from the Hungarian waitor at the restaurant last night asked where we were from and when we said near Newcastle he said.. ah yes.. good football'. So, its not in any way a sign that we are homesick as its Monday morning and you are all probably at work while it is 'SCORCHIO (ish)' here. The guest house we are staying at is really nice. We were first put in a room with a seperate kitchen and bathroom, but then two Norwegian girls were bundled into another room next to us. So, we got a knock at the door to say we were in the wrong room. We would have been happy to stay there but when Shaun saw the size of our new room we packed all our stuff and moved into a 'suite' with more TV channels, a couch and a nicer bathroom. So, its the nicest place so far.... Mullers Inn in Soifok. It didnt half rain when we left the internet cafe in Budapest. Got soaked. So we went for some food, a few drinks, watched the boxing with Ricky Hatton and then we went to bed. We got an early train here yesterday, there was a lovely German lady on the train, she didnt sing for us but she was pleasant enough. It was a bit overcast when we got here but the sun has been out this morning, which has filled me with hope for a sun for the next few weeks. We are now calling this section of our travels the 'Budget holiday' time as we intend to get lots of R&R here and in Croatia. Guess what we are doing today.. we have hired bikes, we rode to Tescos but it was shut. So we are going to have a look through to the lake after this. Just thought I would let you know that Queen is currently on the radio with Bohemian Rhapsody in the internet cafe. One for everyone in Dudley. Anyway gotta go, have lots to do. C&S
