Happy New Year, Jim and Caroline!
2008 is going to be great!! Espcially because you two are coimng to visit me here in LA in just a couple of weeks.
I brought back some goodies for you from your Muvver Country where I spent Christmas with Neil and his family. Neil was just one of several Scatico alumni I met up with in London. God bless Neil for getting up with me at 5:30 am for a road trip to Stonehenge. We got special permission from the English Heritage to photograph the ancient monument from within the stone circle pre-dawn. It was, in a word, amazing. Having filled up on Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, and Fortnum and Mason cookies...it was time to come home in time for New Year's celebrations. Am looking forward to seeing you soon. I'm risking my neck sending this from work, but it's a risk I've gotta take since I've not been that great on the communications front! I hope you had a brilliant Christmas, it looks fantastic out there. I love the photo from your last album that was taken from the boat.

Just to make you feel even better, Christmas Day was very damp here. That said, yesterday was all sun and blue skies, so Laura and I went to our favourite beach cafe which was over run with entertaining Beardie dogs! Tried to get snap for you, but they wouldn't keep still long enough.

Anyway, enjoy your New Year celebrations whatever you get up to. Laura and I might go to the local pub which will round off another year of our ordinary existence!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

So, we're in Belize right now and lovin it (not Peru and in pain on the Inca trail). The weather is hot and sunny, the Carribean sea is great to swim in, the rum tastes like a pirate just brewed it and we're about t o have Christmas turkey by the beach!

Hope everyone is well and having a fantastic Christmas. Caroline and I miss you all and wish we could fly back for a couple of days, of course we're not as we head to Mexico in a few days time and we have some snorkling with sharks and turtles to do tomorrow.
