Great day today. Actually felt like retired couple. Had fun and games on 4x4 track between Pt Neill and Lipsom Cove. Recommend it for scenery but a bit embarrassed to admit a creek crossing beat me and resulted on a significant retreat. This new rig is going to take some getting use to. The boat and trailer are still not finished but our house sitters were moving in today so we headed off this arvo. Landed in Whyalla in time for Les to put on a brilliant spread. Tim in Whyalla for his week on so joined us for tea. He left early in prep for early start at the mines tomorrow morning. Still very unclear as to when boat/trailer will be arriving in Lincoln. Having just retired Carol and I thought a blog might be a way to stay in communication with family and friends in a way that doesn't require us to be too IT savvy. So here goes: Last weekend was spent with the Day clan at Myponga Beach. Nephew Shaun put on a brilliant wedding which along with the whole weekend we thoroughly enjoyed. "Shack" Veronica organised was simply stunning. This weekend we head for Pt Lincoln from where we head for WA.
