Haven't blogged for a few days. The aftermath of 250mm of rain in a day or two in Exmouth has hindered our plans somewhat. The Cape Range National Park and associated camping and snorkelling are completely out of action. The Visitor's Centre and Ranger's houses were flooded and the bush camping areas had caravans floating in a metre of water. Had a day of torrential rain (26/4/14). The first rain since July last year. Creek crossings, the park and most of Exmouth were flooding. Forecast was for 50mm but Willy Weather tells us we had 154mm in 24 hours. Restricted our options a fair bit but we did manage to get into town and get a some shopping done.
