Stelleen caught this Rankin Cod on the prized purple lure. Only problem is they were advised by the fellow tinny fishermen Steve and Noël that it was a Potato Cod, a protected species so after a few photos it was released back into the Indian Ocean at Warroora. I reckon it would have filled the freezer with delicious fillets. Not to be, instead we had pasta for tea.
