This fish fought really well. It took the lure side ways at a rate of knots and my immediate reaction was that he had hooked a bill fish. Another hooked on to the skirt that was out a the same time. I took over but it soon spat the hook. After boating Hanno's we went back over the same area and hooked up again. This time the famous purple lure had hooked into another big fish but the fish was leaping 2 or 3 times it's length out of the water. Unfortunately the sharks were onto it and following a short Russell the sharks had savaged the fish and we had lost the prized lure.
